Microprocessor Systems Blog

Introduction

I am currently taking the class ENGR155: Microprocessor Systems-Design and Application! Follow along as I explore the world of digital design and embedded programming. This class is extremely hands-on, so this will be a blog showcasing all of the work that I do in class.

Lab 1: Board Assembly and Testing

Soldering, writing Verilog, familiarizing myself with the MCU and FPGA.

Lab 2: Multiplexed 7-Segment Display

Implementing a time-multiplexing scheme to drive two seven-segment displays.

Lab 3: Keypad Scanner

Designing and constructing circuit on FPGA to read a 4x4 matrix keypad.

Lab 4: Digital Audio

Programming an STM32 microcontroller to drive a speaker.

Lab 5: Interrupts

Programming an STM32 microcontroller to drive a speaker.

Lab 6: IOT and SPI

Reading temperature using a webpage- REPORT IN PROGRESS!.

Lab 7: The Advanced Encryption Standard

Implementing AES on an FPGA.
